1962 Porsche Emory Outlaw

1962 Emory Motorsports 356 Outlaw

1962 Emory Motorsports 356 Outlaw finished in Speed Yellow with Black Leather interior. Originally built as a competitive Vintage Race Car by Emory Motorsports in 2008, this stunning Outlaw appears on Emory’s site under ” Outlaw 356’s with Numbers “.

Rod is world renowned for his innovative designs and incredible build quality. Each and every one of his creations are individually designed and hand built for the user. His attention to detail and  insistence on flawless execution is apparent in each and every one of his Outlaws. Not only is he one of the most talented automotive designers I have ever met, he’s also one of the nicest. I consider each and every one of his creations ( I have been lucky enough to own several ) stunningly beautiful and mechanically superior to most other builds I have seen, they are so well thought out and purposeful that they are more like drivable works of art than anything else.

After several years of competitive use where this car performed flawlessly, in 2012 the owner sent this Outlaw back to Emory to be completely gone through and converted for street use.

The engine was freshened and tuned for street use by ACE 356/Art Conner using 86mm P/C 10.5/1, Elgin 7208-19 Cam Grind mated to a Four Speed transmission with a modified Main Shaft 2A, 3E, 3B and 4A with a GT Limited Slip. Other modifications include Aluminum Solid Front and Rear Mounts, Suspension (Wright De-Cambered Front Spindles, Koni Shocks, 19mm Front Sway bar, Skirmants Camber Regulator), Glass (Lexan Side and Rear, Glass Windshield),
Leather covered Fibersteel GT Speedsters Seats (Wide), Fuel Tank (Custom Fuel Cell) with external hood mounted filler. Dual Solex Carbs, 12 Volt System, Roll Cage, 5-Point Racing Harness,  interior mounted Spare Tire, Hour Meter Gauge ( replaced an odometer ) showing 199 hours of use.

Rarely do Emory Outlaws come up for sale as his builds take approximately two years to complete and there is a waiting list. This is a rare opportunity to own and drive one of Emory’s fully sorted Outlaw creations immediately.
