1970 Porsche 911 T Targa finished in Albert Blue with Houndstooth Sport Seats
1970 Porsche 911 T Targa finished in Albert Blue with Houndstooth Sports Seats. This California Targa has just been fully serviced with a tremendous amount of attention being directed towards making this exceptional example stand out. We believe it to be accident free and retain all of it’s original panels with perfect factory gaps.
The original dashboard has just restored and refinished in a non reflective Rallye style material. European H4 headlights were installed along with European front and rear turn signals. A wood Nardi steering wheel with Black spokes and new Coco mats add just the right touches. All gauges work as they should including an updated Porsche quartz clock.
The refinished date stamped factory Fuchs 15 inch alloy wheels wear new Vredestein Sprint Classic tires. The floorpan is original with no signs of repair or patches and appears to be totally rust free. The Porsche factory installed Hella fog lamps are in good shape with the exception of a stone chip in the passenger side lens. The factory installed “S” Appearance package with aluminum rocker panel covers and wider bumper trim is in good shape.
Mechanically, the car starts right up with it’s recently rebuilt Weber Carburetors and the five speed manual transmission shifts smoothly and effortlessly with new bushing having just been installed. Additionally, a new exhaust has just been fitted along with a new engine pad. It runs well and has sufficient power for a 911 T model.
The service history dates back 30 years to California and documents the 92k miles currently shown. It attests to how meticulously this car has been maintained by it’s previous owner.
